This Victorian era Tall Butler's Chest with Locking Side in Walnut with Burlwood veneer is a remarkable piece featuring six drawers with their original pulls, all of which can be secured via the right hand locking side panel. The third drawer conceals a butler's desk which when pulled open is fitted with two additional interior drawers (note the beautiful Birdseye maple) and several cubbies, perfect to hold watches, jewelry, cologne, or other personal small items or valuables (Key included)

CONDITION: The Chest is in very good overall condition with typical wear including surface scratches, scuffs and nicks. Also, of note, there are missing trim elements on the left-hand sides of three of the lower drawers (see detailed photo with arrows). This might have been done intentionally; we simply don't know. In addition, please note that there is some cracking in the burlwood veneer, it appears that the backside has been "reinforced" by a previous owner, and finally, the front on the butler's desk drawer is slightly warped, requiring a little more effort to close and latch it.
