Large Contemporary Stained Glass Panel

Beautiful, contemporary framed stained-glass panel by glass artist Maureen McGuire, circa 1991. This striking piece was part of a collection that was installed at the AARP National Office in Washington, DC. It is a one-of-a-kind example of stained-glass artwork, exhibiting a very high level of the craft. Ms. McGuire is a prominent glass art designer whose work is displayed in many churches, homes, and commercial buildings throughout Arizona, the home of her studio for over 50 years.

DIMENSIONS:  64.5”H 48”W 3.5”D (including the frame) The glass panel itself is 62” x 42.5”.

CONDITION: There is one, barely noticeable, hairline cracked piece of glass in the lower right quadrant. Otherwise, this piece is in overall very fine condition.  Note, owing to the size, lead work, and integral structural framing, this piece is quite heavy.  Estimated 200 – 250 lbs.
