From a Shenandoah Valley Virginia estate this spectacular classical five piece mahogany & marquetry bedroom set dates from the late 1800's /early 1900’s. Each piece has truly remarkable inlay work that is breathtaking in its detail and craftsmanship. The inlay woods include Mahogany, Honduran Rosewood, Tulipwood and Satinwood. The night stand has custom cut “Nero Portoro” black marble with gold and white veining.

CONDITION: Overall, the set is in very nice condition and presents well. There are various imperfections visible on each of the pieces; some more noticeable than others (e.g. small missing pieces of veneer), all of which are consistent with the age of this fine set.
