From a Shenandoah Valley Virginia estate this spectacular classical mahogany & marquetry 5 drawer double dresser dates from the late 1800's /early 1900’s. It features truly remarkable inlay work that is breathtaking in its detail and craftsmanship. The inlay woods include Mahogany, Honduran Rosewood, Tulipwood and Satinwood. The marble top is custom cut “Nero Portoro” black marble with gold and white veining. The dresser has lots of room for clothes, including 2 large, deep full-width bottom drawers and 3 smaller upper drawers.

CONDITION: Overall, the dresser is in very nice condition and presents well. There are various imperfections visible namely small instances of missing pieces of veneer, all of which are consistent with age and use.
